Sustainable Soft Wood

Spatrek is very conscious of the public’s positive and changing attitudes towards what they are buying and using within their households and businesses. It is therefore our policy to continue in using Sustainable Soft Wood for our Smart Cat® Wood Based Litter and Bedding and Recycled Paper for our Smart Cat ® Paper Based Litter.

Spatrek is dedicated to using as much UK produce as possible to reduce transportation and therefore minimising the environmental impact of burning fossil fuels.

We can now guarantee that approximately 50% of the Wood Co-Products consumed by Spatrek come directly from UK sustainably grown Soft Wood Timber and 100% of the Paper consumed is sourced from the UK.
